Cycle 300 Miles in June

I'm taking on the Cycle 300 Miles in June Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Cycle 300 Miles in June Challenge for PCR to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

I've done it!

Monday 29th Jun
Well now, I've finished my month of riding for charity. I've officially done 503 miles and raised £980 plus £95.54 in gift aid, so £1075. 64..... That's incredible. I'm very happy with myself, I've done my best and helped raise funds on a level I never thought I could manage, thank you to everyone who donated, you're all legends.

One week to go.

Wednesday 24th Jun
It's been incredibly humbling the amount of support I've received, I have been getting the miles done, I think I'll make the 500 mile mark before the end of the month.

Two weeks done

Sunday 14th Jun
I've done 234 miles now, so I'm well ahead of the curve at three moment. I had a great ride today, Sunday, not much wind and shine lovely sunshine.

The first week

Tuesday 9th Jun
I've done my first week of cycling, I got out every day, cycling to work and back. At the weekend I was at Oulton Park as I'm a cat marshal as well, on the Sunday I managed to get another 25 miles done taking my total for the week to 124.5 miles. I'm off the bike for a few days as I've got another PSA test to do, then I'll be back racking up the miles.

Update, two days in.

Tuesday 2nd Jun
The weather has been a bit damp, but I've been on the bike both days. I've done 42 miles in total, I even saw some sunshine today. Thank you for supporting me.

Ready to go!

Sunday 31st May
Monday and the first of June is here. Just in case the milage counter doesn't reset, y the 156 miles from May don't count towards my 300 miles for June. I'll be updating regularly with milage. Let's get cycling.

The T-shirt is here...

Wednesday 20th May
Not long to go now, the T-shirt arrived today and it looks fab, it's starting to feel like I'm going to be doing this now. I've got to make sure I keep logging my miles daily. Lots of people are waiting for new to start and cheer me on...
