I finished the challenge!
Thursday 1st Oct After a brilliant first week, my aged body de used I was overdoing it, so I took the next week a little more carefully. Then the third week I was called away to visit a friend just out of hospital who needed lots of support, so the walking challenge took a back seat, I’m afraid.ÂI always knew that 100 miles was beyond me, so I set my target at 50. Despite the circumstances, I managed to complete 40 miles altogether, so I’m quite proud of my efforts.Â

Longest walk so far …
Sunday 6th Sep This morning’s walk took me to Margate’s Clock Tower by the main beach.ÂI’ve now completed almost 14.5 miles, in only six days.Â
