Saturday 8th Aug As we know Prostate Cancer only affects men, and mainly affects African and Caribbean men, our #VillageMen; and I put it like this to remind us #ItTakesAVillage, and our men are our seed, without them our village cannot grow; so this this all our business. This illness we know heightens around the age of 50. The statistics shows this affects 1- 4 African/ Caribbean in comparison to 1-8 in European men. I am convinced that this is because Cancer affects us as a people differently, and I would like to see more money going into research to ensure our African and Caribbean Community get the best effective treatment and medicines to help them combat any form of cancer and lengthen their life span. Think about it we are all made up of different genes and origins, so one medicine cannot possibly treat everyone the same way equally 🤔😏I acknowledge that whilst coming from quite a big family, we are Blessed; no family members to date has this as their story. Grateful is an understatement🙏🏾😢 because outside of family I know many Kings now wearing their heavenly crown🙏🏾👑💜 This is the reason I have signed up to support this Prostate Cancer walk to #BackOurBrothers of all creed and kind by completing this challenge walk for the month of September. I am not waiting for that call from my family member; nor am I waiting for another soldier to fall. #ItsTime to act.
We all know our men can put off appointments with the GP and are good at ignoring symptoms. We now know if caught early; the success rate rises. We now know they have changed the way they do the tests, so brothers no more intrusive testing; so no more excuses. Insist on your PSA Test onxe you reach that age if 50 or if you notice any irregularity Sisters lets stand by your man #BackOurBrothers👑✊🏾🙏🏾 whilst remember those who have gone before,🙏🏾🌈🌹❤️🩹and whilst putting in protection walls for our future Kings 👑🙏🏾💜

Saturday 8th Aug Although Prostate Cancer affect men; and I am Blessed and fortunate thst I have no family members to date in quite a big family, that have had this as their story to tell. However I an #VillagePeople kin; and I know of many. I take this stance to try and help to make a difference in raising awareness abd support our Kings; and in a hope for generations to come will have better experiences and outcomes to talk about. We know that African/Caribbean are mainly affect by this cruel disease. We cannot wait for change to come; we have to follow the roots of our Ancestors and make change happen🙏🏾✊🏾 I am convinced that cancer is different in us as a people; snd I would like to see research acknowledge that the difference, makes a huge difference in impact and life expectancy; and so more needs to be invested in this, so we care getting the correct and most impactful medical treatments. Therefore please join me in mybaim to #BackOurBrothers of all creed and kind fo
