Fundraiser for prostate cancer
Hi everyone,
I’m raising funds for prostate cancer research because this is something that truly matters to me — and it matters to so many families across the UK.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men here — over 52,000 men are diagnosed every single year. That’s someone’s dad, brother, partner, or best mate. And the hardest thing? It often stays quiet — men don’t always talk about it, early signs can be hard to spot, and by the time something shows, it can be much harder to treat.
That’s why research is so important. It’s what finds the better tests that catch it earlier, the kinder treatments that help people live well, and the breakthroughs that save lives. Survival has already doubled in the last 20 years — which proves we’re moving in the right direction — but still, nearly 12,000 men lose their lives to it every year. We’re not done yet.
Every penny raised helps researchers keep going. It brings us closer to a future where no one has to hear those words — and where every man gets the check-ups, care, and support they deserve.
It doesn’t take much to make a big difference:
• 💙 Even a small donation helps push us forward
• 🗣️ Sharing this page helps more people understand
• 🤝 Checking in on the men in your life matters so much
Thank you so much for being here, for reading this, and for caring. Together, we can speak up, stand together, and keep fighting until we find a cure.
With love and thanks,
Liam DouglasÂ
