As you may know my lovely dad has recently been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and after seeing the care he has already received I’m keen to do my little bit and raise some money for Prostate Cancer Research. We are in the early days of Dads’s journey but we are feeling super hopeful.
I have decided to join the ‘Run 50 miles in October’ challenge for Prostate Cancer Research. On average I’ll be running just over half a marathon each week of October which will be a big challenge but whilst I’m running my dad’s treatment and road to recovery will begin.
My dad is an incredibly precious man and it’s not until you personally see the work of these incredible charities do you appreciate them when you need them the most.
Every tiny little bit helps and goes towards an incredible cause.
