I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

🏃‍♂️💙 Right… I must have finally lost the plot! 💙🏃‍♂️

Tuesday 29th Sep

I’ve decided to voluntarily put myself through the joys of running again after one knee op and the other ready to go physio hasn't put his finger on yet, but In the mean time to raise money for prostate cancer 🤔 something the doctors can put the finger on 😉

So that means Yes… Me running in public, Wearing Lycra flaunting my perfected fatherly figure jelly mould 🙈 There really is a serious side to this and a bloody good reason behind it.

Prostate cancer affects so many men, and it’s something we need to be more open about. Men aren’t always brilliant at talking about their health or getting themselves checked — so if this run gets even one more bloke thinking, “Maybe I should actually get that checked,” then it’ll be worth every painful step.

I’ll be putting in the miles, producing some questionable noises and probably negotiating with myself somewhere around the halfway point 😂 and pointing the finger at you guys quicker than the prostate examiner for not sponsoring me 😜

And let's just say… my legs may not be the only things that need checking after this! 😜

But jokes aside, this is a cause that genuinely matters to me, and I’d love your support.

💙 If you can donate, thank you — every pound really does help.
💙 If you can’t donate, sharing this post could help me reach someone who can.

So, here goes… trainers on, dignity off, and absolutely no promises about what state I’ll be in at the finish line! 😂

Let’s raise some money, raise some awareness and get men talking about their health.

Now… where are those lycra shorts ? 🏃‍♂️😂
