Just want to thank everyone for their kind generosity and well wishes. So far, so good though I’m currently sitting here with my foot on ice (I’m just old!). I’m not as unfit as I thought, but won’t underestimate how many runs I’ll have to go to complete the challenge 

Getting back running

So, with the exception of a terrible attempt of a run 18 months ago, I’ve not gone out for a run for about 10 years when I was a fair bit fitter. However, over the past year or so, I’ve lost a bit of weight and have played football most weeks so I’m confident I can do this. Who knows, I may find the bug again!!!
