I’m desperate to lose weight and what better way to do it than raising money for such a great cause. I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

My Updates

Day 7

Thursday 15th Oct
I had a good few days off as I’ve been ill, back to it today. Managed a 5.4km (3.3mile) today, legs were gone half way round but I’m starting to enjoy it.

Day 6

Saturday 10th Oct
That was a hard one but nice change of scenery down the beach today. Managed a 4.79km (2.9mile).

Day 5

Thursday 8th Oct
The best run yet. A nice 4k (2.4mile) in the bag and I enjoyed that one. If you like running up hills East Kilbride is recommended.

Day 4

Sunday 4th Oct
It was harder to get out of the house this morning, the running is getting easier on the body and I managed 4.6km (2.9mile). Still a lonnngg way to go but it’s a target to reach for not just myself but an amazing charity too. PCR

Day 3

Saturday 3rd Oct
Another hard one today, longest run so far and kept pushing on through. 4.62km (2.8mile)

Day 2

Friday 2nd Oct
The good goody goodey was out with me again and today’s run was harder on the body than yesterday. We still managed a 3.43km (2.1mile) run by the grit of our teeth.

First run

Thursday 1st Oct
I really appreciate all the donations and support off my nearest and dearest, much love. I ran 3.85km (2.3mile)  this morning with the good goody Lewis Goodey, it was a hard push but worth doing not only for myself but for a great cause too.
