Recovery and Success
Monday 12th Oct After Saturday's slog, yesterday and today have been hard work, today I was worrying that I'd not even manage the minimum 1 Mile again. And then the counter threw confetti across the screen, I'd made the Mile. I could relax. Not to bed early. *** Level Achieved ***

Birthday Bonus
Sunday 11th Oct With my Birthday on Friday just gone, seeing my son Saturday (yesterday), we headed to the Trafford Centre, Manchester, UK. It took a lot out of me, stretched me to my limits, doing almost 5 Miles, today I struggled a lot, did my walk this morning and added a bit to almost get my 1 Mile, the rest of the day was full of rest, naps and I did it, almost 2 Miles as of now 22:07hrs.If I can do it pushing myself, but also pacing myself, then you can reach your own goals.

Bakewell
Tuesday 6th Oct My most favourite of days so far was the walk around the market and along the river bank in Bakewell, Derbyshire.I managed further than the Strava showed as I started it over the bridge from the car park but ended at the car. My knee hurt a lot during so had to have pain killers and a nice Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas meal, well, I was away and it is Britain :-)

Movers and Shakers
Friday 18th Sep I visited the local Leisure Centre yesterday and spoke at random to the General Manager, once I realised it was them, I asked if I would be ok to advertise my Charity Challengers for October, they responded by saying I could put some leaflets out like they had for their own things and what's more, they offered to put a post on the Leisure Centre Instagram page. AMAZING.It's not just what you know (and can do) but who you bump into :-)
