In memory of my Dad.

50 Miles in October – For Dad ❤️

The cause, and the timing of this challenge, made it impossible for me not to sign up.

I turned 50 last December, and just two months before that, my wonderful Dad lost his battle with prostate cancer.

October marks the first anniversary of losing Dad, so when I came across the challenge to run 50 miles throughout October, raising money and awareness for prostate cancer, it felt like the perfect way to honour his memory.

Now, I am not a runner, in any way, shape or form! 😂 However, having reached this milestone age, I'm making a conscious effort to look after my health, improve my fitness and push myself outside my comfort zone.

I'm under no illusion that this will be easy, but if I can raise some money, help make a difference and honour Dad's memory along the way, every aching muscle will be worth it!

Any support, whether through a donation or simply cheering me on, would mean the world to me.
