Alternated jogging and walking to mitigate any knee upsets. Managed it without incident, and feeling healthy.

Thursday 22nd Oct
I’m on 35 miles so far. I’ve been cautiously taking my time due to a knee setback, often not exceeding two miles in a single outing which has meant more frequent but shorter excursions. I have a 6km run coming up this Saturday that I’m very nervous about. Wish me luck 🫠

Kick start

Thursday 1st Oct
My normal running day is a Wednesday, but give that the 1st October was a Thursday I delayed. Decided to aim for a good start by getting in 5 miles on day one. Achieved that, but not without incident. My left knee is playing up - prompting me to consider more functional running shoes and a knee strap.
