Why I’m Taking on the 50 Mile Challenge
Friday 25th Sep Coming from Cameroon, I have seen how access to healthcare, early diagnosis and health awareness can be challenging. Living in the UK has given me the opportunity to see a different approach to healthcare and to take part in initiatives that support people affected by serious illnesses. That’s why I decided to take on the 50 mile run for prostate cancer.
I know 50 miles is going to be a physical and mental challenge, but for me, every mile represents something bigger than just running. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness, support research and encourage conversations around prostate cancer particularly around the importance of men paying attention to their health and seeking help early.
I may not be able to change everything, but I believe we can all contribute in whatever way we can. For me, this is one small way of giving back and using my time and energy for something that can help others.
If you can support my challenge with a donation, a share, or even a word of encouragement, I’ll genuinely appreciate it.
50 miles. One purpose. Every step counts. ❤️
