I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

My dad has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, so this challenge is particularly close to home for me.

Throughout October, I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer Research and help fund vital research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Unfortunately, I'm also due to undergo hand surgery shortly, with the date still to be confirmed. While that may put a temporary stop to my running, it certainly won't stop me from taking on the challenge. As soon as I've had my surgery, I'll be swapping the running shoes for 100 sit-ups a day for every remaining day in October to keep pushing towards the goal.

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK during their lifetime, and with my dad now among those diagnosed, the importance of raising awareness and supporting research has never felt more personal.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and help support the incredible work of Prostate Cancer Research.

Thank you so much for your support. It genuinely means a lot to me and my family. 💙🧡
