Early bird catches the worm

Wednesday 21st Oct
A quick 25 mins around the village before i start my day. I always feel best when I work out in the morning. My pace is getting better and working hard on my running posture to avoid any more injuries. Making small progress in the right direction 🏃🏼‍♀️

50 miles down and still 13 days to go

Sunday 18th Oct
🔥

Smiling as over half way to the 50 miles but every joint aching

Tuesday 13th Oct
Does this get any easier? 😂

23.5 miles done and On my way to 30 miles 🏃

Monday 12th Oct
My cold has started to ease now which means I can look to do a couple more runs this week 🤞

Double Whammy

Saturday 10th Oct
My phone didn’t save the activity correctly, but we still had an amazing 5.5-mile adventure along the South West Coast Path today, helping us get even closer to achieving both our goals! 💪🌊 The terrain wasn’t the easiest to run on, but the new trainers felt like running on clouds ☁️👌 and my newly strapped-up ankle held up brilliantly, keeping any niggles or pain at bay. And of course, the post-run shandy in the sunshine 🍺☀️ was a very welcome reward! 23.5 miles completed out of 50! 🙌 Considering the week I’ve had, I’m genuinely so happy with the progress we’re making. Every mile counts, and we’re getting closer with every step. Thank you to everyone supporting the fundraiser. It really does mean a lot. ❤️ More miles, more progress and more to come! 👏💛

Full of Cold but gotta keep moving 💪

Monday 5th Oct
Sundays Run - Not as planned - but that’s life isn’t it - have to pivot and adapt. My knee pain has gone now I’ve strapped it up but now my left ankle feeling a strain - all because I twinkle on my toes lol

So reduced the distance and paced it out with runs and walks.

11 miles down so far

One thing i do know is i never regret a workout after I’ve done it

Crunchy knee and blister on my foot but still smiling 😃

Friday 2nd Oct
Small one today as I went a bit extra on my Barre workout this morning (challenging my inner ballerina) and now my right knee has developed a crunchy feel to it - how lovely 🥴 Breathing was a bit short - such a simple thing but I seem to not be able to master it properly whilst running - so another thing to add to my to do list 📝 😃 Apart from that - feel bleddy brilliant 🤩 6 miles down - 29 days to go. Let’s see where my little legs and crunchy knees take me. ✌️

Are we’re off….. 🏃

Thursday 1st Oct
50 shades of red 🥵 as we navigated the rocky paths and Cornish hills but 4.1 miles in the bag 👏

Full Of Gratitude

Monday 28th Sep
The ripple effect of this decision to do this challenge is so lovely. Deacons signed up to the program too and will be running his 50 miles in October too 💪 go on son!!

So truly grateful for every message with words of encouragement and your generous donations. It means the world

🏃 🏃🏻‍♂️ It’s Time To Quit The Excuses

Tuesday 8th Sep

I'm not a runner — my technique has been compared to Phoebe from Friends and not in a good way. But my partner Jules and I are taking on 50 miles this October for Prostate Cancer Research.

1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. That's why we're doing this, wobbly running form and all.

Sponsor two people who signed up for suffering so others get more time with the people they love ❤️ Link in bio 👇
