I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge
So… apparently losing 8 stone wasn’t enough of a challenge for me. 😂
At my biggest I weighed 23 stone. Running?! Absolutely not. If you saw me running back then, you’d better start running too because something was definitely chasing me. 😂😂
Fast forward to now, I’m 8 stone lighter and I’ve decided it’s time to push myself again…
🏃♂️ I’M RUNNING 50 MILES IN OCTOBER! 🏃♂️
Yes… 50 bloody miles. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a word with themselves. Unfortunately, that person was me. 🤦♂️😂
But there’s a serious reason behind it.
💙 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
So I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research, raising money to help make a difference to men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
Going from 23 stone and barely wanting to run for the last sausage roll… to voluntarily running 50 miles is something I never thought I’d be saying! 😂
If you can spare a couple of quid, I’d massively appreciate it. And if you can’t donate, give it a share, give me some encouragement… or just remind me of this post halfway through October when I’m walking like John Wayne. 🤠😂
