From couch to 50 miles
Sunday 27th SepI started Couch to 5K in June 2025, never really expecting running to become something I’d stick with.
Since then, I’ve completed a 5-mile race and two 10Ks, with another 10K coming up next week.
Now I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet — running 50 miles throughout October to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
It’s a cause that’s close to home, as a member of my family has been affected by prostate cancer, so it felt like the perfect reason to push myself a little further.
I’m sure there’ll be plenty of tired legs along the way, but hopefully I can complete the 50 miles and raise some money in the process.
