I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for my Dad

On 28th December 2024, after fighting heroically, Dad passed away to this horrible disease. He was 58 years old.

Dad was diagnosed in his early 50's and fought with courage every step of the way, through all the pain and treatments, Dads love for life still shone through. His love for life was awe inspiring and he made sure to live a life as full as possible.

When someone who leaves such an imprint on so many people passes away, what do we do next? The best we can do is honour them and their memory. Prostate cancer took my Dad and it broke our family and friends. The least I can do is try to raise as much awareness and raise some money to hopefully, one day find a cure for this terrible disease.

So I've taken on the challenge of running 50 miles in October. Now, I'm no runner by any means, in fact, I can't remember the last time I did more than a brisk walk. However, if by doing this can help Prostate Cancer UK and other men and their families even a little, then it's all worth it.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡
