I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

Lovely 5km run today in the winter sun to finish off the challenge. It was quite warm in places making me feel over-dressed.

Today's run takes me to 51 miles!

Thanks to everyone for their generous donations and support, especially the Dunstable Lions Running Club with the running part. Mission accomplished! XXX

Nearly there

Thursday 22nd Oct
Managed 11 miles so far this week (4, 3, 3, 1) taking my total to 37. I have another park run to do on Saturday which takes me up to 40 miles. Been OK, better to do lots of little runs for me rather than going all in for bigger.

Currently I'm at  £1109 raised which is nearly 10 times what I started out as a target. Thanks again everyone.

Started!

Saturday 3rd Oct
Did a steady run around the football pitch in Tatlisu, Northern Cyprus. Just under 3.5 miles so a good start for the 50 miles target, only 46 and a bit to go! :)

Thanks again to all the wonderful supporters. Quite a few have shared their own stories about friends and family members who have been affected. Very humbled to be doing something to help.
