I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

50 Miles in October: Running for Prostate Cancer Awareness 💙

Tuesday 29th Sep

This October, I’ll be taking on a personal challenge: running 50 miles to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research. 💙

This is a cause that is extremely close to my heart. Prostate cancer affects so many men and their families, yet there is still a huge need for greater awareness, early detection, support and research.

As a busy mum of three with a full-time job, finding the time to clock up 50 miles throughout October is going to be a real challenge! Between work, family life and all the usual day-to-day chaos that comes with being a mum of three, fitting in the training and miles won’t always be easy.

But that’s exactly why I wanted to take on this challenge. I wanted to push myself physically and mentally, while at the same time raising awareness and supporting a cause that means so much to me.

Every mile will have a purpose, and knowing that I’m helping to raise awareness for prostate cancer and hopefully make a difference will keep me going when finding the time - or the energy - feels difficult!

I’m hoping this challenge will help shine a little more light on prostate cancer and encourage more people to talk about it, learn about the signs and symptoms, and understand the importance of getting checked.

If you’re able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, it would be hugely appreciated and could make a real difference. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing my fundraising page and helping spread the word would also mean a great deal to me.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this, donate, share or support me throughout the challenge.

Now it’s time to put the miles in! 🏃‍♀️💙
