6 miles to my target! 
I intend to just do a couple of short runs this week, just to keep my legs moving and finish off at next weeks Parkrun.
I have found this challenge much harder than I ever imagined due to struggles with extreme fatigue.
Thanks for all your support 🙏

Parkrun!

Saturday 17th Oct
My first Parkrun since May, and my first since my diagnosis.
I had got a bit depressed and this running challenge has really given me something to focus on and really value and appreciate life. 
It was nice to get back to Parkrun and see some friends.

Felt like crap yesterday.

Friday 9th Oct
Had the flu jab the other day and yesterday I felt like crap! 
I feel much better today so I went for 2 runs, and may do another to try and get half way there, cos its back to work tomorrow and doubtful I will get any running in.
Thanks to everyone that is supporting me. 

It's a hard slog!

Thursday 8th Oct
When I took this challenge on, I thought its only about 1.5 miles a day, easy!
However having had some busy days at work I got behind and have just completed my 3rd 5K in row, and I'm really feeling it.
Keep going!

Training is going well

Thursday 24th Sep
A big thank you for everyone's support! Training is going well for the October challenge and I hope to get a bit quicker as the time goes by.
I had my bone scan yesterday, just wait to see if I'm eligible for surgery, then the challenge will be to complete the 50 miles before that.
