Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Why am I doing this? Well, every man in my immediate lineage has had this disease or is currently fighting it, so it’s in the post!! Call me selfish if you like, or Mad but I’m going to give this a go.

It may sound easy. But for a man who can’t run a great deal more than about 200M right now, 50 miles in 31 days is my Everest!!
