I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge

Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.

Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.

Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

Trainer Purchase

Tuesday 8th Sep
Thanks to a great local sports shop (Rutland Sports) this morning I have procured a shiny pair of Adidas Supernova running shoes. Technically I’m sure they’ll do the job but I really only bought them because I liked the colour!
2 practice runs logged on Strava this week so my plan of warming up pre-October is working out.

Onward!

Well !

Saturday 5th Sep
So, never been a runner (played number 3 in  rugby 😂) but having been on bit of weight loss journey since my dad passed away in April, this popped up and I thought to myself ‘what a cracking idea’ . As per most men that have cracking ideas, it probably isn’t and will involve  some serious effort- but hey, no pain no gain and what a brilliant cause.  Please sponsor me. I won’t let you down; even if it means having to buy a pair of trainers and trimming my toenails!  Thanks!
