I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge as this is the illness that took my dad from us.
Did you know that 1 in 8 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?I’m taking on the Run 50 Miles in October Challenge for Prostate Cancer Research to change this and help make a difference to men and their families who have been affected by prostate cancer.
Please support me during this challenge by donating what you can to Prostate Cancer Research. Every donation you make helps advance our mission to create a world free from the impact of prostate cancer.
Thank you for your support! 💙🧡

Accidental mileage
Thursday 29th Oct Accidentally forgot to stop recording my last run on 28/10 so i have cropped it on strata hoever it hasn't amended on here. So my total shows as 47 however im only at 41. I plan to do 3 miles a day from tonight til Saturday morning on a park run to complete the challenge. Share
Increased fundraising tar
Tuesday 6th Oct So thanks to all of you kind people we have smashed the increased target of £500 so why not, lets aim for even more! See if we can make it to £1000 😊 Share
Day 6
Tuesday 6th Oct Day 6, 3 more miles, so on track to complete with room to spare but will aim to get further ahead so I can increase my target distance. Hot and sweaty run through the woods with my 10 year old son and 9 year old daughter in tow! Few tears along the way (not mine, although i was close) but we made it 🙌 Share
Day 3 - 2nd run
Saturday 3rd Oct
First run!
Thursday 1st Oct Took the first steps towards 50 miles this evening, with reggie coming alone for support 😊 managed a 1.7 miles run, had some technical issues with my new watch and it recorded a bit wonky so will try and get that sorted for the next one. Feels good to be back out running 🏃♂️ ShareThank you to my Sponsors
